The Cathedral Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, West End, Wrexham

A friend of Wrexham Cathedral has loaned a Viscount Envoy 350 delux to the church. Anthony Bogdan was asked to make recommendations as to speaker system and amplification

It was decided to place the console and speakers on the balcony. A tricky operation at best but the highy skilled Anthony Bogdan Organs Team thrive on a challange

The console, eight speakers and a bass unit were lifted up to the balcony. Wire and ancillarys went up the same way as the spiral stone stair case was very un-forgiving if you put a foot wrong.
During day three Anthony started to load the latest models into the organ, diapaons string and a new tuba

Day four, with all the speakers and bass bin wired Anthony set about the voicing. He made a very cathedral like sound with a tuba which will welcome the Bishop and be very useful during the cencing of the altar.

“Anthony and his team were professional, exceptionally organised and punctual.  All the work undertaken was completed in a timely and courteous manner and to the highest standard and we were informed of progress at all stages of the organ installation.  Anthony’s experience and musicianship enabled the voicing of the Cathedral organ to be completed with utmost care and attention.  I would highly recommend Anthony Bogdan and his team.”  Canon Simon R P Treloar, Dean, Wrexham Cathedral.
