The Parish Church
of St. Mary, Wavertree, Liverpool.
|
|
The Church has undergone extensive
decoration and renovation. This included building a narthex, kitchen
and toilets. The project has made the Church building a focal point
of the community.
The builders, who were engaged to do the work, carefully removed the
Johannus three manual Organ and speaker system.
At the end of the project Anthony Bogdan Organs was
contracted to rewire the organ to the speakers.

The builders carefully placed the
heavy nine channel speaker system on the roof of the narthex.
Anthony Bogdan Organs supplied the eighteen core cable which intrepid
members of the church laid under in the cavity under the floor.
Anthony Bogdan made the connections. The channels of the organ had
to be carefully wired and checked to ensure the
pedal division went
to the bass speakers and likewise with upper work to the treble
speakers
On April 12th 2005 the organ burst into life, the magnificent tuba
heralded a new start in St. Mary's Church life. The organ was then
re-balanced to the building by Anthony, this entailed careful
listening and adjustment of volume, treble and bass of all nine
channels
