Christopher Pendlebury has regularly worked transplanting and installing pipe organs. Christopher is a keen organist and needed a practice instrument for his Spanish home where he spends much of summer. After looking at various manufacturers of digital organs Christopher decided the English sound of the new Viscount was the one for him.

The Contract was placed with Anthony Bogdan Organs to supply the organ and speaker system but the remit was the room must retain it's character and three areas, dining, coffee chatting, and cosy area in front of the fire place, there must not be banks of ugly speakers to spoil the areas of the room.

Anthony Bogdan arrived in Spain, the organ having been shipped there a month in advance. After careful consultation with the client, two speakers were placed out of sight under the television stand  and two more placed in a convenient sideboard unit. Just open the cupboard doors and play the organ. The bass speaker, a further two channels, is by the side of the fire place. The only alteration to the room is that there is now an organ on the left hand side of the fire place and there is a magnificent grand organ sound.

The organ was then balanced and set on speech by Anthony Bogdan. Regulating such a large organ to a sitting room, albeit a large sitting room is not easy. The voicer can make the whole organ sound too big and the balance between the departments and stops can be difficult to achieve. In fact, it is difficult not to go round in circles however Anthony Bogdan delicately voiced the small stops and there is now a lot of contrast and choice between cornets, flutes and strings, but the diapasons add weight and the swell chorus is powerful and  underpinned by a solid pedal division.
