English Martyrs Catholic Church

English Maertyrs Catholic Church lies in deepest Lancashire, near Clitheroe and Blackburn. After thirty something years the exisitng Viscount Recitative Organ was nearing te end of its life. It had been good value for money.

A small groupt of singers and the organist visited Anthony Bogdan Organs to seek a replacement. Anthony Bogdan was chosen because of the work he had done to keep the Recitative Organ working.

A Viscount Chorum 40 was chosen. It is a good English sound with a mellow full swell with a real presence. There are silvery mixtures all under pinned by a solid pedal division. A good accmpanimental instrument which would be fine for and occasional recital

On the day of installation two delivery men, an engineer  and Anthony Bogdan was involved postioning the organ in the choir loft which was up steep narrow stairs.

Although the organ had been voiced via the USB port Anthony stayed behind to make some final adjustments and make sure it was to the organists taste.
