What Our Customers Say.................

“We have received excellent personal attention from Anthony regarding the purchase of this Viscount Vivace 40 organ. He arranged for us to try one of these organs in another church and attended this visit with us. On no occasion did we feel under any obligation or pressure. St Michaels Worthing is a large church and Anthony advised regarding an additional amplifier and external speakers. The cost of the whole project was just under £5,600. We have a very versatile instrument with many wonderful voices which is a joy to play. It is excellent with accompanying hymns, voluntaries and recital pieces. We have received countless compliments from the congregation regarding the beauty of this instrument. One feature I really like are the individual expression pedals for both Great and Swell. The organ has been purchased with funds raised in loving memory of Rita Noakes, a truly loved and inspirational organist, pianist and choir leader of the church over a span of many years. So this organ is very special to us. Many thanks Anthony”.
Richard Elwood ANMSM  April 2014

Just to say thank you very much for you services to us at St Andrew's Thursby. From the point of initial enquiry to the end result your service was personal and interested. You took care to provide us with the right instrument for our church's situation, and at a very reasonable price. We are very pleased with the outcome. I would unhesitatingly recommend your services to anyone thinking about a digital organ for church use
Canon Geoffrey Ravalde March 2014

I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of my dealings with Anthony Bogdan over the purchase of a three-manual Wyvern organ. He was friendly, courteous and reliable throughout, and his team managed a complicated installation at my home with amazing care, skill and plenty of good humour. I would have no hesitation in recommending Anthony Bogdan Organs to anyone looking for good, honest and sensible guidance in purchasing an electronic organ.
Dr. Anthony Hammond (Concert Organist) January 2014

I have spent the best part of forty years playing and practicing on church organs, and I thought now was the right time to have my own home practice instrument. I really required a three manual instrument, but thought it highly unlikely within my limited budget. I soon found Anthony Bogdan Organs via the internet having previously met him some twenty five years ago. Within a few weeks a three manual Viscount Prestige II became available and under no obligation he took me to the other side of the Midlands to view and try it. Only a fraction over my budget it now sits very well in my living room. Access was tight and tricky, but no trouble whatsoever. All done with patience and humour considering the cold wind that morning blowing off the Pennines! I am delighted, what a wonderful instrument, absolutely superb. With Anthony's experience and guidance I feel in very safe hands. Highly recommended.

Here in our Parish in Greenford, we have known for some time that our old organ had reached the end of it's days. But we were unsure as to what we should do. Then we were approached by the widow of one of our parishioners. She wanted to raise money for an organ in memory of her husband.
That gave us the impulse to start things moving. But where do you start when one is not an expert in this. So as one does in this day and age......we consulted Mr. Google. Too much information...but the one thing we learned was, that it was not just a question of picking an instrument, but also of getting the right person to do the "Voicing".
After hours of searching we kept coming back to the web page of Anthony Bogdan Organs and were impressed by the testimonies. So we phoned, and Anthony himself answered.
In no time we arranged for him to visit, we liked what he had to say and there and then placed the order. Later the people from Viscount came with Anthony, measured up, and a few weeks later we took proud possession of our new Viscount Physis Organ. Anthony visited the following day and voiced the organ. We are thrilled, our organist, Peter is thrilled, Ian our pianist (who wanted nothing to do with a new organ...he wanted an electric piano) is thrilled....and is now playing the organ. The sound is wonderful, fills the whole church and it's a very large building, and the singing has improved.
All in all, a very satisfactory, painless, and economical solution to a very important part of our liturgical life. We can't thank you enough Anthony.
The Reverend Eugene Lynch. Parish Priest, Our Lady of the Visitation Greenford Middlesex. June 2013

Four years ago Anthony Bogdan Organs supplied me with my first organ, a Viscount Princeton, a pre-owned (and not very expensive) instrument which suited my beginners status. I was delighted with it but as I progressed it became obvious I should need a more advanced instrument. Well what a joy my new Viscount Cadet 38 is, I could not be more delighted. Thank you for your time, expertise and impartial advise. Anthony advised me what to avoid as well as what to choose! I would gladly recommend your services to anyone. With very best wishes

My thanks to Anthony Bogdan Organs Ltd for the execution of a well planned operation in which nothing was left to chance. The removal of my previous instrument and installation of the new Viscount organ was carried out with great care, ingenuity and humour.
A much appreciated personal visit from Anthony ensured that everything was to our mutual satisfaction In my work I play a variety of pipe and digital organs on a regular basis and I count myself very fortunate to be able to practice on the resourceful and versatile Viscount Cadet Compact 31 in the comfort of my home.
I have known Anthony for some years and am well aware of his musical and business skills. It gives me pleasure to join the ever increasing number of satisfied customers.

St. Martin’s Catholic Church had recently undergone fairly major refurbishment which included various alterations to comply with Health & Safety regulations.  For many years the congregation had been accompanied in their singing by a small organ which was not designed for church use.  Fortunately some money was found after all the refurbishment bills had been paid so the organists were given the green light to find a suitable instrument.  It didn’t take long to find Anthony’s website and see that the instruments he had on offer were likely to suit our needs well.  Anthony was most helpful during the decision making process and nothing was too much trouble.  Once a purchase had been agreed arrangements were soon made to have the organ installed at St. Martin’s.  On the day the rain kindly stopped in time for the organ to be wheeled into the church whereupon Anthony took time to set the instrument up and demonstrate its capabilities in its new home.  I am sure he would have stayed much longer, such is his pride in the organs he sells.  The congregation is delighted with the new organ as are the organists who have found new enthusiasm to practice.
Trevor Jones, Organist, St. Martins Catholic Church, Brackley, Northants, February 2012.

The organ is magnificent, (Viscount Envoy 35S) everything I hoped it to be and more (literally – there are features which I thought were only on the more expensive model). I am so pleased that we chose this make and model and I have to thank you for the part you played in this. The keyboards in particular are great and I am very glad to have taken up your suggestion of the different Fatar keyboards - they are well worth the extra money and can be recommended to your future customers. The extra cost is not a lot compared to the total cost and, let’s face it, they are the most used part of the instrument!
Michael Bussey, Nottingham, November 2011.

There is a thick file in our church office which records the attempts to repair and tinker with our old pipe organ.  I looked forward to a time when we would have a reliable instrument, one which was not so frail that at each service the organist would ‘hope’ that all would be well.  However, I had no idea that our new Viscount Envoy Organ would be not only a better and reliable instrument but would be a whole world of sound different and would fill the church with such music and delight which the building had never experienced in its 75 years. Such tributes come from many members of the congregation, we have various organists who come to play on the new Viscount Envoy and enjoy it.  I want to thank Anthony Bogdan for his travelling long distances to prepare the way and later to fine tune the instrument to the building. Jeremy Meager was efficiency itself in installing the instrument in our organ loft.  Everything was done with such friendliness that we felt part of the family.
The Reverend Chris Fuse, Parish Priest, November 2011

Since the installation and voicing I've had a chance to explore the instrument and quickly generated some very positive responses from the congregation as to the quality of the instrument. I did appreciate your courtesy and consideration in coming to Mass to actually show me how to function in a live environment soon after the installation. Your service is quite exceptional in this day and age. Next stop is a wedding on the 28th October with Handel's Water Music and I'll be exploiting all of the organs versatility to blow them down the aisle! Thank you for everything you've been God send.
Ian Curley BA (Hons) Organist,
Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, St Annes-on-Sea, September 2011

Just a note to say many thanks for your prompt delivery and installation of my Viscount Vivace 40 organ and especially all the time you spent here carrying out the voicing and explaining all the features to me.  I am delighted with the organ and have already spent many hours practicing.  I went to church to practice this morning and had no problem with the transition between the two organs which is something that I had previously worried about.
Lynn Storey, Welshpool. October 2011

The Viscount Vivace 50 which you delivered and installed last week is a delightful instrument that has exceeded my expectations. The sound is impressive, and it is virtually impossible to tell that it is not a pipe organ. The range of stops is exceptional for the price, and the inclusion of a 32' contra violon makes a powerful difference.
Thank you for all your care and trouble, not just in delivering and installing, but in the time you spent carefully voicing the instrument so that it is appropriate for my needs and the position it is in.
Peter Bird, Guildford. January 2011

Since having the Vivace 40 installed at Christ the King, the singing has improved tremendously, both with the choir, and the congregation - they absolutely love the realistic sound of a pipe organ (and so do I!).  I have received several compliments about its quality and the sheer power it has in filling out Church!  It's absolutely amazing!
Anthony Williams, Deputy Organist
Christ the King Catholic Church Walkden Manchester. August 2010

Many thanks for your time and advice with regards to helping me choose the Viscount Vivace 50 as a home practice instrument. It really is a fantastic instrument from which I shall gain much enjoyment.   I was thoroughly impressed by the promptness of  the delivery and you and your teams professionalism.  I would certainly not hesitate to recommend you in the future.  Once again many thanks and your honesty and integrity was much appreciated.

Director of Music, St.Mary’s Sixth Form College, Blackburn. June 2010

After the installation by Viscount, along came Anthony Bogdan with his wonderful ear for voicing. He had to work with a very critical and demanding organist (me) in an unusually shaped building such as St. Mary's is. He overcame all these hurdles to transform the organ into a beautifully toned and highly admired instrument. Time was no object to him either, he refused to leave until both he and I were  happy. He insists he still has more work to do, and is returning once the instrument has had some time to 'settle down'. He is to be highly recommended and now I wouldn't trust the organ voicing to anyone else. It's so refreshing to have someone who will work WITH the organist
John M Hardcastle,
Director of Music, The Parish Church of St Mary Woodkirk, Batley, West Yorks. May 2010

Many thanks for the collection & onward removal of my Viscount Vivace 40 organ carried out so efficiently with such good humour.
Thank you even more for the supply and installation of the Viscount  Prestige 80 organ which replaced it. This is a truly magnificent instrument, from the beauty of the  cabinet work to its internal technology versatility. After Anthony, with his considerable experience as an organist had completed his voicing with great attention to detail. The organ has a thrilling sound without equal among digital organs. A recommendation to Anthony Bogdan Organs Ltd has to be a given.

Many thanks for the wonderful job you made with the installation of our Prestige 40. The attention to detail, care and enthusiasm made you an absolute pleasure to deal with not to mention the brilliant job you made of the voicing. With the speakers installed behind the pipe facade, looking at the organ and hearing it play, I would defy anyone not to think it was a pipe organ. The organ is an absolute pleasure to play and listen to. I would recommend you to anyone.

Just a few words to say how pleased we are with the Vivace Model 90 Organ. I find the Instrument gives me great pleasure and enjoyment to play. With the large number of voices and the and the variety of their combinations it gives me quite a variation of mixture of sounds for playing hymns and voluntaries. The instrument produces notes of clarity which enhances the worship,  giving a perfect lead for the singing of hymns. The feed back from the members of the congregation has been very complimentary and feel that it has been a good choice of instrument and also a good investment. The instrument is very comfortable to play and the action of the keys is very positive. The number of  preset thumb pistons on each manual makes it easy to change to the different combination of sound.
Peter Neil,
Organist, Tipton Green Methodist Church, July 2009.

Members of the congregation were most impressed by the voicing of the Viscount Vivace 40, mainly due, I think, to the four external speakers, not to mention the appearance of the console, which fits in well with our Victorian chapel. Needless to say, I am enjoying playing the organ and exploring the various possibilities that are available.  I must thank you on behalf of the church for installing the instrument and providing the necessary back up to make sure that everything was in place as we wished.
Dr Douglas Troup, Organist
Little Sutton, Methodist Church, Wirral. June 2009.

This organ speaker system supplied by Anthony Bogdan Organs Ltd has completely changed the musical life at S. Peter's, and playing for services is now highly enjoyable. The installation was done with great care and Anthony's own considerable experience as an organist resulted in a very satisfactory musical set-up. I am delighted.
Tony Baggs, Organist,
The Parish Church of St Peter Rickerscote, February 2009

Just a short note to say a very big thank you for the superb Vivace 50 that you delivered to Holy Trinity, Pwll last week. We had a superb Sunday. I thoroughly enjoyed playing and the singing was the best I have heard for some time! It is a super instrument and will enhance our worship enormously. I am very grateful to you for your honest advice and for delivering the organ so promptly.
The Rev. Paul Davis
Vicar of Burry Port

"Thank you for the care and attention you gave when supplying and installing the Viscount 40 and four external speakers. There have been numerous favourable comments regarding the sound and versatility of this instrument. The speakers are very effective for both volume and tone, especially with regards to the reeds. The more gentle voices whisper effortlessly around this medieval church. Full organ has been described as 'thrilling'."
David Secker, Organist of the Parish Church of Lutton, Lincs. Dec 2008

On behalf of all at St Tydfil's Well Church Merthyr Tydfil I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a job well done. Your professionalism and advice right throughout this project was second to none and as a result the worship at our little church has been greatly enhanced. We are pleased as a church and parish to be associated with Anthony Bogdan Organs Ltd.

In December, after Evening Service and the church was locked, our Advent wreath burst into flames scorching badly the Viscount Organ supplied by Anthony Bogdan Organs Ltd. It is to Viscounts credit their consoles are so flame retardant or this might have been a different story.  We decided that the same company,  Anthony Bogdan Organs Ltd., should provide a replacement Viscount Prestige organ. The instrument is a most versatile organ and I was able to customize the specification to take into account the liturgy at St James. Our Viscount Organ is noted for being a fine instrument. Whilst we, at St James are pleased with the efficient installation, voicing and after sales service provided by Anthony

I wanted to thank you for the smooth and professional delivery and installation of the Viscount Vivace 40.  I'm really pleased with the instrument and am already feeling the benefit of being able to practice daily.
Linda Skelton
Wakefield, June 2008

Just a note to say that I am very satisfied with your recommendation of the Viscount Vivace. Setting up very easy and voices excellent. One advantage is that I have digital hearing aids in each ear and with the previous organ I had to remove them but with the Viscount this is not necessary. Delivery of Viscount and removal of Johannus was carried out most efficiently. I will have no hesitation in recommending your services.

Thank you for you attention to detail installing our pre-owned organ After your visit we hosted the North West Ward of the Society of Mary Lent Afternoon and the organ was put through its paces rigourously.A congregation of 130 sang lustily during the sung mass, ably accompanied by Michael Heppleston at the organ. Later in the day 100 folk sang their way through the Stations of the Cross and the day ended with Solemn Benediction.
The Reverend Canon Peter McEvitt.
Area Dean of Failsworth, February 2008

The organ certainly sounds wonderful. I called into the the church yesterday to hear our organist Richard Skinner take it through it's paces. Many thanks for looking after us so professionally, kindly and musically. We are thrilled with our Viscount organ.
The Rev Francis Wooley
Rector of Balsham, Cambridgeshire, January 2008

Installation is now complete and everyone is thrilled with the sound, including of course myself, a not so old sceptic!  This instrument will lead a congregation of three hundred plus choir and orchestra just as beautifully as a small Sunday Morning Eucharist.   My advice to anyone wanting an alternative to a perhaps unaffordable pipe organ is talk to some one with experience and who is an organist themselves.
Richard Skinner  GRSM  ARCM
Organist of The Parish Church of The Holy Trinity, Balsham, Cambridgeshire, December 2007

Seventeen years ago I thought my new digital organ was the bees knees and I suppose it was, then.  The Viscount Prestige 80 you have installed here surpasses anything I have heard or played. I now have a 'pipe organ'.  It is quite amazing. The quiet stops are delightful and the full organ is thrilling.
Melville Penzer, Barmouth, Wales. August 2007

To say that the installation of a Prestige 80 in St Augustines has been a success is an understatement. A number of distinguished visiting organists have commented on the excellent sound. The very complete specification allows the performance of music of all periods with authenticity, and above all it is superb in its prime function, that of accompanying the excellent liturgy of St. Augustine's
We would also record our thanks to Anthony Bogdan for his skill, diligence and attention to detail during the on-site voicing.   The individual attack and decay on every note is phenomenal, something lacking on many other pipeless instruments that I have played
Paul Marshall, Director of Music, The Parish Church of St Augustine, Tonge Moor, Bolton. June 2007

Just a note to say that after the re-balancing and work on the speakers system the organ is sounding a whole lot better! The improvement is significant. The Makin has a much better tone, volume and balance of sound in every way. The improvement has been noticed by more people than just my assistant and myself.
Cynthia Wilson, Organist, The Parish Church of St Saviour, Brockenhurst, December 2007
